Yeah, ive had this aversion to ‘new’ country music, like, forever – so the only way to conquer one’s fear is to jump in the lions pit right? And i did that, covering the 1st Bayou Country Super Fest for Festival Productions (jazz fest). I found mostly cliche country trials and tribulations, but what won me over was that frail, pretty, “hooks for days” singer Taylor Swift. here are some shots. I guess i still like to shoot live music here and there.

It certainly helps to have a pretty singer that knows how to work a crowd….and doesn't sing about pickup trucks.
